Solar Power Battery
Save Money at Night
The key benefit of adding a battery to your Solar system is to allow you to store the electricity that would otherwise be fed back to the Network.
In simple terms the electricity that has been produced by the solar system, but not used during the day, will be diverted to the battery.
This electricity can then be used to provide power to the household, or business, during hours when the solar system is not generating energy which of course saves you money on your power bills.
Add Your Solar Batteries Any Time
Whilst, in many cases, a battery might not yet be a viable option, it is important to note that you are able to add a battery at a later time.
When sourcing your solar system, one consideration is whether you purchase a battery-ready or battery-compatible inverter.
Both types of inverters will support the addition of a battery at a later date, although when adding a battery they have differing installation characteristics.
